The beautiful wedding of this gorgeous pair took place in May 2013,
surrounded by loved ones and sweet details. The day oozed style,
although the bride confesses that it came together organically by choosing
items that they loved, rather than having a particular style or theme in mind. This
was also true when it came to the flowers; the bride selected a range of some
of her favourite flowers, which came together to form beautiful creations in hues
of purple and white. The flowers evoke memories of wild flower meadows (a style
dear to my heart). It was great to see all the details come together on the big
day, with the flowers complimenting the bride’s stunning dress perfectly.
I created bouquets for the bride and chief bridesmaid, corsages for the bridesmaids,
button holes for the groom, groomsmen and fathers. I also worked closely with
the bride to design and make her dream floral headdress for the occasion.
